        Howard “Hap” Jameson, was recruited personally by Arthur Davidson out of an Indiana bicycle shop in 1911. “Hap” Jameson worked for Harley-Davidson on new motorcycle development and posed for advertising photo shoots, among other jobs. He also penned the recurring feature in "The Enthusiast" magazine "Frank's Mailbag," where he answered questions from readers.

        Below: 1959 Hap Jameson in his shop after retirement.

            • I think the first picture below from post #1290 is Dud Perkins Sr. and Gladys Murray (Wife of Frank Murray, the Sacramento HD Dealer). The second picture looks to be Dud Perkins after winning a Hill Climb.

                    • I worked as an electrician for years and I almost always rode my bike to work. The mother-in-law of the owner told me her dad and uncle had both rode Harley-Davidsons and she give me a photo. On the back she wrote 3 hot chicks. I found the photo not long ago and scanned it. When I met her she was in her late 70's or early 80's, but I think of her and this bike from time to time. Look close, because it has lots of extras and a sidecar too.
