Vintage Pic of the Day - December 15, 2020
Screen Shot 2020-12-12 at 8.04.31 AM copy.jpg
An interesting photo here. Mechanical work where space allows, bike jacked up on a cinder block. Interesting two ladies to the right background with one looking as if she could have been at a desk in an office. Can't tell what she is working on. I could tell if the wall 1% was added to the photo or was part of an advertisement on the building. To the lower right an empty package from a new Saphire Chain?
Mike Love.

I like the pictures. Any information about them?

(More information than 'screen shot'!)
The photos obviously originated from the same source...
Very few 'post-Modern' pics make it into my collection, but it has charm.

PS: This gal doesn't mind the distraction; The fellow had a recognizeable name, but I can't recall it...

Further to post 395 Yes I know what's on the T shirt Logo for the Winnipeg Roughriders Motorcycle Club...the other club which I am a life member of was the Manitoba Motorcycle Club 1911 INC and still going today and is canada's oldest motorcycle club, was to prim and proper for these guys in the 30's and they formed their own club ... a lot of air force guys in it..I have the colors of a friend's Uncle, who was a member in 1938 and 39 and was shot down in 1940 and perished in his Bomber...a pilot...The club disbanded in the 1950's as the MMC was too strong and organized and associated with the AMA for racing..Ross

Seems pretty likely that those two pics were taken on the same day, Looks like the refrigerator door was moved...probably to show the 'ers' in the '1%ers' lettering. (and lettering looks like it was actually painted on the wall as opposed to being added to the picture later Mike.) My guess is that the situation was basically real but the photos were 'staged' to suit someone's agenda, like the famous Holister pics. Maybe just two nice 'square' chicks sending pictures home to pi$$ off their parents.
Very cool and very interesting. Thanks for posting.Last edited by droptopford; 12-16-2020, 08:52 AM.

It just looks like a typical club house to me Droptop!
In the late Seventies, old farm houses were really really cheap in my region, and a lot of fun.
The choirmaster pumping gas with a cigarette is lucky he didn't Wynn the Darwin Award.
Meanwhile, here's another one of my favorites. Guess which one is the Sergeant at Arms?
