For those of you struggling to stay cool in the summer heat, here's a few snowy pics to lower your temp. From the Capital City Motorcycle Club out of Sacramento, California. Photos from the collection of Armando Magri.

Anybody have any input on this bike. It is obviously a war year bike judging by the lack of fender trim and the painted tank badge. It has a front shock which would be post war and later horn added (probably military surplus because of the starburst face). What about that door in the car body. I think the headlight is also an aftermarket sealed beam. JerryOriginally posted by BigLakeBob View PostLast edited by Jerry Wieland; 07-27-2023, 09:36 AM.

Jerry,
1946 Knuck? with earlier sidecar?
Chrome spirals,Indian Headlight? Aftermarket windshield, earlier horn
Sidecar has chrome wheel, truck fender light, door looks homemade.

That decal on the sidecar front is probably a big clue but I can't read it. And what is the lady holding in her right hand? The tank badge is 1940-46 and 1943, 44 and 45 are rare, so 1940-early 1942 or1946. The early bikes had white grips as standard, but black was a no-cost option. Tank cap is chrome, fender braces are still narrow. Could it be a UL on a sidecar rig rather than a knuckle? And what is that 1920s/30s car doing in the background of a picture maybe taken around 1950?

No disrespect, but I find that a funny comment. My daily work truck is a '93, makes that about the same in comparison. Our mutual friend is driving his '80's van from FL to Davenport this year for like 35 years straight. Use those 4 wheelers until they can't be used anymoreOriginally posted by Steve Slocombe View PostAnd what is that 1920s/30s car doing in the background of a picture maybe taken around 1950?
