It's a Yale. Looks like an Indian behind it. Thanks for a great picture of a rare motorcycle, Tom.

Duffy, That goose neck for 1910 only lasted for a very brief time as , due to breakage in that area, they came out with a new neck mid-year, It was so named the 1910 and a 1/2. model. My friend has one in almost original condition with only about three pieces needed to complete which he is making. It's also a twin. There is no more than a handful that have survived. I found it scattered in three different locations.DrSprocket

Adding another Yale to the mix. This picture is labeled "Henry Major on a Yale motorcycle, and Mr. Blehm in a Buick convertible automobile, in Dorrance, Russell County, Kansas. Dec 17 1910".

And because I was just reading about Flanders motorcycles in the most recent club magazine...

what a glorious era. simple, but not easy. the beginning of the end of the horse-drawn era and the entry of rocket ships. First on the ground, soon in the air.Originally posted by EricOlson View PostArthur Roach and friends on motorcycle outing circa 1905

Badger, I have this same picture and the caption I have says "Motorcycle accident at the intersection of North Orange Drive and Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA, 1931". Here's another shot of the bikeOriginally posted by badger34Steve, do you have any info to go along with the above photo?

I notice 1931 California license plate, possible remnants of small pennant and UCLA Bruins decal on side of tank and the letters UCLA on the tool box.
