In about 1973 when they moved the Juneau Avenue operation to York, Pennsylvania the bikes were moved there. They set up a small museum there with some bikes and the rest were put in a storage building on the premises. Several years ago they reorganized the York facility and the collection went back to Milwaukee. Now some of them are on display in Harley's museum in downtown Milwaukee. Worth seeing.

In post 1762 note that the maximum speed needle on the speedometer is stuck at over 90 mph. This speed could not have been at the time of the accident.

Dear Tom, the VLs could do 100 mph on the Corbins, see the 1935 newsreel video at vlheaven.com. It's possible that particular Corbin had not been reset for days or weeks, so the 93 mph was the maximum speed recorded in the past. I usually crank my VLs up to 100 mph on the Corbins, (on the rear stand) then leave the max speed hand there for bragging rights. Alternatively the max speed could have been recorded on the dropped bike with an open throttle. I've dropped a VL in a 30 mph zone, then picked it up to find 50 mph recorded on the Corbin max speed hand, presumably achieved by a spinning rear wheel while I was temporarily not at the controls.

Thanks Tom, her backdrop in my picture looked like a Wall of Death.
