Did they not have clutches in 10 ? I thought they did. Does it die when you come to a stop ? Then what ? have to peddle start and off you go ? Beautiful machine

I was going to ask the same questions as Tom did. I thought by 1910, that clutches were common on most all bikes, particularly a twin. Regardless, it's a beautiful motorcycle, and beautiful restoration from the true golden age of Indian.

yes they had other models with a clutch even a two speed, this was the less expensive model, and yes when you stop you peddle to get going again , the right grip unloads the cylinders to ease the peddling

I know it is very tough to find a clutch for that era, but it would be a nice feature. Again, you did a fantastic job on the restoration and need to give yourself a hearty handshake, and a pat on the back
