That is an interesting picture, and like you, I had not seen it until a few weeks ago when I copied it from another forum. I don't know what to make of the bike in the foreground as it has racing bars, but it is a road model. I wonder if it's a period hot rod as Excelsiors had the reputation of being able to eat Harleys, and Indians for lunch. The Excelsior in the background is a Series 20, and not a common bike in it's own era.
