Dear Peter, the foreground bike in the third picture looks like a Pennington, with the horizontal cylinder and direct drive by crank to a small rear wheel. Do you have any more info on this picture?

Hi Steve,
A guy I work with sent me the pictures so I checked with him and he said he's had them so long he doesn't remember where he got them. If he does, he'll see what he can find out and pass the info to me. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

That's the one that caught my eye, too. I first thought of the 1894 Hildebrand-Wolfmuller, with the crank attached directly to the rear wheel.Originally posted by Steve Slocombe View PostDear Peter, the foreground bike in the third picture looks like a Pennington, with the horizontal cylinder and direct drive by crank to a small rear wheel.
