I used to buy AMCA calendars every year, until they looked more Euro/Asian than American-centric. Considering the expense, and crap shoot of ordering one, would it be too much to see a preview of what is going to be featured?

I personally enjoy the calendars no matter what is featured. And the purchase of them helps the club, so I'm all in. But then I find a round case Ducati or a Honda Black Bomber as interesting as I do a Cleveland single...

I have a Black Bomber and I love it and that is why I joined the VJMC. No Euro or American bikes in their club magazines.

So, the antique motorcycle club of America is actually the antique American motorcycle club?

I heard they are talking about rounding up foreign motorcycles and deporting them.

Hey, if the motorcycle belongs to an AMCA member then I'm all for it!

I merely asked if it was possible to see a preview of the calendar before shelling out Kopecks for a hard copy. I'll be blunt; I prefer American motorcycles and consider foreign motorcycles to be 2nd tier. You can take my opinion any way you want and call me any name you want but it won't change my mind or alter my interest. I do love some foreign bikes and would be delighted to have the thrill of riding/owning them but have obviously not made a concerted effort to pursue that detour. I do 95% of my own work and that has involved a lot of expense in tools, parts, literature, and social contacts which has been tremendously rewarding; however, my foray into my mid-60s Honda required new tools, Japanese technology knowledge, literature, and new Honda friends. A wonderful and rewarding journey but quite a detour. I don't relate to people who just buy a "modern" bike that needs NO work and call themselves a "restorer" or a marque expert. Our most recent 'Antique Motorcycle' magazine did a feature on a Big Base racing Indian Scout, and a 1917 Thor. Those 2 motorcycle are the essence of our hobby (in my opinion) and documented the true devotion of the people who climbed a mountain to bring those historical bikes back to a viable and appreciable state for future enthusiasts to enjoy on a visual/visceral level. I always get my ass in a wringer with this apoplectic topic of new vs. old motorcycles in the AMCA, so let your invectives fly.
