  • Who liked a post?

Admins/Moderators, in the past I’ve received a few notifications via email which let me know who liked posts of mine but not anymore. And recently via my message centre there were notifications about people liking posts of mine in two threads but no names.

Why aren’t the names of people who like a post included at the bottom of the post? That’s what happens on some of the other forums where I’m a member so why can’t it happen on this forum? Can this situation be addressed please so we all know who liked a post.

And can someone please correct the time. It is out by one hour and it has been for quite a while. Thank you.
    Eric

I second that "Like" issue. Very strange. Most forums don't have this issue. Must be a glitch or a setting.

The best way for a Neanderthal like me..... to "like" a post, is to comment on it. This and a few other forums are it for me as far as social media. No FB or X or EIEIO anything.

Thanks Bob but it was one hour out even though the selected time zone was already the one which included Perth. Today I changed the zone to Western Australia but that was even worse so I put it back to where it was.

I've noticed that also. At the very bottom of the page, on the right hand side, mine says "All times are GMT-5. This page was generated at 9:20 AM". That is when I am logged in. As soon as I log out it changes to "All times are GMT-6. This page was generated at 8:20 AM". I've used these times as an example. They change appropriately. I did as Bob suggested and went to settings, and I am set to the correct time zone.

That was me that liked all of 'em. Don't understand why this forum won't show that.

Admins/Moderators, two weeks have passed since I started this thread and I put it in this section because apparently this is where members can make suggestions. My suggestion is that the names of people who like a post be included at the bottom of the post. That’s what happens on some of the other forums where I’m a member so why can’t it happen on this forum?

And I’d also appreciate it if someone corrected the time which is still out by one hour. Thank you.

Eric, Back to your time zone issue. Here in the states we change to and from daylight savings time twice a year which alter times. My suggestion is just change your personal time zone up or down. I do it here in OH, USA depending on the time of year. Right now I'm correct with EST (Eastern Time Zone), when we change in the fall I'll have to change my setting if I care about the actual forum time when I post. I don't believe it is a forum issue, IMO.
