Deleting photos?

Folks,

I have uploaded far too many photos, and some are duplicates.
But when I open the "manage attachments" tab, although they all are displayed, I can't kill any!
It says that any uploaded that are not used in an hour are deleted...

(...Not!)

Any clues and cues would be appreciated..

I appreciate your effort, Harry!

But nothing comes up on my screen that makes sense.
Went to 'settings', and found 34 pages of uploads, apparently in order of most recent, but no search function to find the ones I wish to delete.
Although they do not show on the 'attachments' list, they still show when I 'manage attachments' for a post. And a couple are quite recent.

Its my own fault for uploading 680 attachments, apparently.

Tom, see in the lower LH corner you can choose "show thumbnails" (or in case you've already got them showing "hide thumbnails"). That way you'll at least have a small version of the picture you've posted.... but with 680 to look at I think you've got your work cut out for you! As you mention, I don't see a search function at all, means page by page I guess!

Found that already, Harry, Thanks!

But the most recent 'mistake' entries that I made are not there, but do show when I 'manage attachments' for a post.

I guess after 680, I just won't worry about them.
