It was in the 50s here in Sarasota today on the last day of 2025. Not to sound like too much of baby but my shop isn't heated and that kind of cold just wears me down. My wife made hotel reservations in the Daytona area for the Sunshine meet so I'm really looking forward to a big swap meet, warm weather, and seeing friends, enthusiasts, and anyone that's friendly. My spot is F28 which is in the "quiet zone" of no-where-ville but people who are lost do wander by. If you're one of them, stop and say hello. In closing. . . HAPPY NEW YEAR, and health and happiness to everyone.

Will there be any food trucks at the meet this year?

Hey Buster,
We realized that last year the concession was not open on Thursday so there was no food available for the vendors.
Also after a couple of day of concession only food you kind of get tied of hot dogs and hamburgers.

So our agreement with the City this year is that they will bring in food trucks. Not sure how many or what type yet.

I will be that guy, are they going to be selling beer this year!??!?! I dragged a couple of guys to the meet on Friday last year with the promise of cold beer and shade, I could only provide shade. This reduced my time at the meet considerably, they needed refreshments I know 2023 had beer for sale. For those of us only coming for the day bring our own is a PITA. Anyone know?
