I want to secure a meet space at the AMCA Daytona National in 2025. I can't get to the Sunshine vendor registration because I don't have a password * and don't want to register to become a member of the Sunshine Chapter, but would be more than happy to pay the fee for a vending spot. I have been a member of the Sunshine Chapter 4 times since 1975 and quit 4 times because it's always been a poorly managed 'good ole' boy' club since its inception (ask any AMCA National Florida member, and no aspersions to our beloved National). I hate to sound so sh!tty about them but I have never belonged to a more exclusionary, disrespectful club, (not that I've belonged to many clubs I would be more than happy to send money to the Sunshine Chapter volunteers (who I deeply respect), and the AMCA but just throw me a damn bone ! I have sold a lot a really good parts at Sunshine meets and given back to the members. People only go to AMCA National meets to look for parts so make it easier for sellers to nail down a bit of real estate.

    * I have a password for the forum, but not for the general AMCA website. I think this small club website it too complex for old morons like me. I'm sure this has all been defined somewhere but not so it can be easily navigated.

Try your forum password Eric. I use the same username and password for both but can't remember if I set it up that way or it just happened by default.

I tried that, Peter and it didn't work. I also hate bothering Keith Kizer because he's a busy guy with better things to do than deal with a whiner like me. I was nominated by 2 friends to secure a spot at Daytona so obviously they are smarter than I am if they got me to raise my hand for this job. A small club should be transparent in function.

Eric, I logged onto the AMCA site and followed the prompts to the Sunshine Meet and Keith's email is provided for Vendor Registrations.
I know he's handling them as I spoke to him regarding my spaces a couple of weeks ago.

There is no need for a login.
We have the Sunshine Chapter website
            https://sunshineamca.com/

And the National website page for the event/meet
            https://www.antiquemotorcycle.org/co...tem_id=2344630

Up until this week all the sites were only going to past vendors. The remaining spots are now open to all AMCA members.
As directed by either site, Keith Kizer is to be contacted for a spot.
We should have the ability to register online for a spot later this week rather than calling Keith. However I am sure he would love to hear from you.

The Sunshine Chapter has recently made changes.
Hoping you will enjoy this years event.

Thanks to Keith, and sswaney I secured a space for Daytona 2025. I'm going to make an effort to put sentiment aside and fill up the truck with junk I originally planned to take to 'beyond'. One of my favorite things to do is celebrate happy hour by looking at my motorcycles, and parts. Motorcycle stuff is pure art, and next to living things, the most beautiful objects on earth to me. It will be tough to part with some of it but it is also imperative to send it on to people with bikes that need it. Again, thanks to Keith, and Scott for their patience, and help.

I followed the link to the Chapter site. Went to the swap Meet page and scrolled down to the Daytona Stadium map.
Is that map an actual representation of how many spaces are sold? If yes, anyone wanting a spot better get it done soon as it looks like it will sell out.

Thank you for visiting the site.
Yes, Keith is providing an updated map showing available sites almost weekly. This one is from last week, 10/31.
Looking forward to a good event at the stadium.

Well said and quite poetic! I love spending happy hour that way.
                    Glad you got your spot.

Thanks, Clark. I'm looking forward to the Daytona meet and hoping to bring my '41 Sport Scout there. Two problems; I need to get the SS sorted out, and I am the worst trailer backer-upper I've ever known. I guess I should start practicing trailer etiquette in a big parking lot. I recently gave my old Chevy S-10 to a nephew and miss it because it was easy to load and hauled many motorcycles along the South-Eastern coast. Good radio, and A.C. too.
