  • 25th Annual PANHEAD RUN.

This is not in any way and AMCA event. Just a Ohio thing that has been going on for 25 years. This year the Lake Erie Chapter and the Buckeye Chapter decided to have a little friendly bet as to who will have the most members show up and ride. Defiantly welcome other chapters to shut us both up and show up with more panheads on the road. This club is about riding, comradery, and supporting old motorcycles on the road. So with that, here is the fliers for the event. If you have never been on this ride they are very serious when they say "Panheads Only". Just wanted to make that clear so no ones feelings get hurt.

You should say "real" Panheads only Billy to keep funky clone junk out!

hahah... Not my event. Just trying to promote it different places I can. Little things like this need all the support they can get. There are more people that seem to want to buy and sell parts anymore compared to actually riding bikes. I personally enjoy it all.

A few pictures from yesterday's run. Weather couldn't have been better. Mid 70's no rain. 340 mile round trip for me. DSC06966.JPG DSC06968.JPG DSC06969.JPG

Thanks Billy and did you find any pictures I could use in 'The Panhead Years' book series, in production? I am short of pictures of good bikes from 1954, 1961 and 1963 if any owners out there would like to see their Panheads immortalised in print. Side views at one megabyte plus to vlheaven@aol.com please. There is no money in this project but all contributions are acknowledged. Thanks for any help, Steve Slocombe. PS. I'm still looking for dealer new model announcements for 1957-65 models if there are serious literature collectors out there. Will buy spares or pay for copies, thanks.
