RV Camping near/at Chief Blackhawk- recommendation ??

I'm hoping to get to the Chief Blackhawk meet in September, but won't know if I can make it until a day or 2 before hand, so I don't want to make reservations..... question is how crowded are RV parks in the area during the meet ? We are in a 43' motorhome and need 50 amp hookup. I don't mind driving a few miles to get to the meet as long as it's a decent park. Any recommendations?

You may be able to get a spot on the fairgrounds, although i don't know how early they will allow.

(Typically everyone is pulling out around noon Saturday, but this year may be quite different.)
