    Jefferson Meet 2019

    Hello,

Well it looks like the weather will be perfect for this weekend's (Friday & Saturday) meet at White Rose M/C Club! Looking forward to no rain and mud!
Of course, I probably just jinxed myself!

I hope 3 years of mud. Did not turn people away from this year.

The Chesapeake Chapter National Meet at White Rose was one of the first National Meets I attended years ago. I will be there this year but somewhat nostalgic because this is the last year for this meet at White Rose. Next year this meet will be at a new location 22 miles south in Upperco, MD.

I have been at White Rose through all the clear, sunny and crisp Fall days and all the rain soaked, muddy days too. I’ll be there in Upperco next year but when I leave for the last time on Saturday from White Rose, I’ll look over my shoulder and remember all the good times and friends I met there. And the parts I found. Good luck Chesapeake Chapter Members on your National Meet next year.

That is sad news to hear, Richard. I was at the very first Jefferson meet and I still think it is the most beautiful location on the AMCA national schedule. I got my Flying Merkel at that meet, and always found great stuff, and met many of the AMCA's finest members there.

This is the first time I'm learning about it too. I've been going for more than 20 years, both in sun and rain. I love the location. I'll be there Saturday for the memories then.

Fantastic, Dale. That is the Jefferson/White Rose meet we all see in our mind's eye. I know it's been nasty there, but in spite of the mud, and rain, it was full of good people, and great motorcycles. I never regretted making that drive from Florida. Thanks, Dale, for taking the time, and making the effort to post all those beautiful pictures.

                        Eric.
Have you ever considered making the trip again? It's a lot closer next year! (22 miles!)
As far as White Rose, if you have never seen the hill climb there, it is definitely worth seeing!

I was there today and it was great. I'm going to miss this setting, lovely spot for a meet. Where is the location next year?
