The Allegheny Mountain Chapter is sponsoring the only AMCA National Road Run on the East Coast in 2019 from June 10-12, 2019 with arrival and check-in on Sunday June 9. We will be riding for three days in the beautiful Laurel Highlands area of Western Pennsylvania.
Registration for the Road Run begins on Saturday December 1, 2018 only on the AMCA website under the Events/Road Run link. There will be no paper applications for registration. Because host hotel and Road Run registrations are limited, our Road Run Committee is suggesting if you want to avoid disappointment, early registration for both the Road Run and the host hotel should be done when registration opens. All information, including the name and registration information for the host hotel, will be available on the AMCA website through a link to our Chapter website at amcaamc.org Although there is no guarantee you will be able to reserve a room at the host hotel if you delay, early reservations are recommended. If you reserve a room without registering for Road Run, you will be asked to do so to avoid the limited number of allotted rooms at the host hotel from being held by those who may not attend the Road Run. We are trying to be fair with everyone who wants to attend the Road Run and stay at the host hotel.
Our Chapter full page ad will be in the January/February 2019 issue of the magazine which will be mailed between Christmas and the New Year. But all of the information you will need to register will be on the AMCA website and the Allegheny Mountain Chapter website. We are looking forward to another great Road Run in the Ligonier/Seven Springs PA area and hope to see many of our National Road Run friends and many new ones too. If you have a friend who has never participated in an AMCA National Road Run, encourage them to join you. If they are not an AMCA Member, please ask them to join or an AMCA Membership will make a great Christmas present for a friend. It will be the best $40 they can spend to have a really great time riding old motorcycles in an area of the country where they may never visit but for this Road Run. Thanks for considering what will be a great adventure.
