Cherokee Cannonball Riders Benifit

Two and a half days ago, a Call went out to volunteer help for the Cherokee Chapter Members that will be in the 2014 Cannonball 3, as independent teams or Part of the Father / Son expanded Carson Classic Motors Team. The AMCA Youth Director, Buck Carson (RL Rider), is the Son part of this Team, While this year the Father, Mike Carson (JD Rider) will be riding along side his son in this years event as Part of a 16 member Team, Support Staff and 6 other riders.

Several Chapter officers will be part of this team, VP Greg McFarland (JD rider), Road Run Chairman, Jon Neuman AKA DR. J, (JD Rider), and Membership and Event director, Shelby Withrow, Truck Driver/Machinist. 11,000 miles home to home.

Individual Cherokee Members have donated 6k in the last 60 hours privately, under the Leadership of our President Steve Klein, and anyone wishing to Donate can find contact info on www.cherokeeamca.org

Proud as can be of our Chapter Members, We have raised 8700 privately from our members not to mention the Contribution made from the Confederate Chapter, the Diamond Chapter, and many Corporate Donors to the Carson Classic Motors team. We will be joined by friends across the country as we set out to show how teamwork builds lasting friendships. We also had a new Member join riding a 1931 VL in the Cannonball, The more the merrier. The Cherokee, Confederate and Diamond Chapters have joined in their support of the Carson Classic Motors, Most members are from this area of the South. The Chapters decided to Cheer and Support all three Chapter's members and the entire Carson Team as they work there way across this great Country, in the Spirit of Team-Building. We will be sharing stories of the teams progress in many ways, www.cherokeeamca.org will be updated daily where possible, Through emails to members and friends to share for the Love of the Sport.
