H-D Solo Seat stamp

I recently acquired a beat up H-D solo seat pan that I intend to fix, and repaint. I noticed a "Y" stamped into the bottom of the pan near the pommel. Has anyone seen this on other H-D seat pans? No big deal, just curious.
