      Rob, I know this is a while ago, but this transmission is a royal pia to operate. Extremely delicate. Everything close together and will always grind.
      Easy to blow up if accidentally go into reverse if any forward movement.
      I have this in my ultra rare 1951 New York City Fire department DT. Nightmare to drive. Would prefer three speed any day of the week. Not that hard to push backward. Do not believe more than several hundred ever built. Impossible to find gears or parts. Marty

          Thanks Marty,

          I’ve pretty much resigned myself to using the 3-speed. I’d like to have the option but I think I’m happy with the standard 3 speed.
