Good Afternoon All,
Hope you're doing well - in my "hello" message to the forum group (in Parking Lot Chatter) I posted an ad hoc "wanted" ad for my great-grandfather's motorcycle; and am now doing so again here as this is the appropriate place. I've listed some specifics below, please give me a call if you have any information on this bike - thanks!
Model: 1946 Indian Chief
Engine Number: CDF3600 B
Frame Number: 3463600
Color: Black
Last Known Owner Info: John Dufilie (Former AMCA judge) of North Stonington, CT restored this bike during the winter of 1993 and it made its rounds in the AMCA circuit winning quite a few awards. It was the featured bike (on the front cover) of Old Bike Journal in March of 1998. Some time around 1998-2000 or so, John unfortunately passed and the bike was sold as part of an estate sale and that is where the trail ran cold.
