Looking for a servicable large port rear knuckle cylinder head. I have a front head that I believe is original to my early 1940 EL (VIN # 40EL18xx) that is date coded L-9, but the second is in need of work, and has a 1946 date code. I would preferably like to find a head with a date code within a month or two of the original head.
My cylinders, amazingly enough are original too, to the best of my knowledge, and have a J Date Code (October). The original Tranny case, lid and kicker cover have a mix of J and L date codes Oct. & Dec.
I am looking for a head that can be made to look unmolested without too much trouble, and am willing to pay a fair price depending on condition, and work required to make it right.
