    1936 to 1941 9 Bolt Springer Horn

Try finding a 6 Bolt VL Style Horn. You can either add or have one of the Horn Repair guys mentioned in this Forum add the extra 3 holes. Then buy all the correct hardware and mounting plates etc that I believe can be readily found. Then just look for an original face. That is what I did a while back and I saved a lot of $$$ doing it that way. Good Luck!

      Thanks

I have all the right stuff for the horn attachment I have a repro on it now which is slightly smaller I think. Your idea is a good one so will keep looking, there is one on ebay right now but the guy wants 299.00 dollars for it and I think that is a little to much but have no idea what they go for.

Sixty Bucks is a good deal. Years back those six bolt horns were all over the place for next to nothing. There was a guy up in either Washington or Oregon who used to add the 3 extra square holes or add the bracket and make them later springer horns real cheap. At one time nice complete 9 bolt horns were 400 to 500 bucks on ebay. Not any more. Lost touch with the guy who used to do the horns. A while back someone mentioned another guy who works on them?? Jp
