After all the foofaraw over the tightening up of the judging rules to keep "non-deserving" bikes from winning, the thought that a bike with a headlight that doesn't work would score higher than an equivalent bike with a working headlight just strikes me as very ironic. I guess this is what judging has come to. As you sow, so shall you reap (this is not a personal comment against you Wayne, but rather directed at judging in general where a disclaimer is now needed to avoid being sued over points. Need to buy a burned out CYCLE 3 BEAM bulb. Not a rental! I found a thread on here regarding peeling back the formed ring and replacing the reflector with a older, replaceable bulb type reflector. Thanks, FLTHEAD. Great idea. Now I have a path..............all I need is some...."light". I kill me....

you need to modify the cycle beam reflector or can use a steel 7 in. metal reflector from a 'ol car type headlight,to mount the springer type replaceable bulb
