Knucklehead left case w/TITLE if that's possible: ANY YEAR!

I need a left side Knuckle motor case...I have a '36 right case but I'm open to anything , ESPECIALLY with a TITLE, from 1936 up to 1947. Anybody?

You can only mate a 1936-1940 case to your '36. Excellent repops are available.

Thanks for answering Chris. Due to the "blind" RACE(s)?

Who do know on the Repop....Phil over in Lynnwood, Ca?

Yes, Phil is the man. He can provide cases without the blind hole.

          Bobber59,
As opposed to what Chris says it is entirely possible to mate a '41-'47 case to an earlier one. The major difference is the inside diameter of the early case is slightly smaller due to the smaller diameter flywheels. If using a later left case one only needs to build up the crankcase scraper to the height of the early one, just like a stroker built with UL flywheels. The blind race is also no problem as the end cap can be machined off and a later case bushing installed for a straight through line bore. you can even go so far as machining the inside of your right case to allow the later large flywheels to fit.

            Robbie,
The flywheel diameter is the easy part to deal with. The 1936's have the case studs in a slightly different location than later years. The stud holes for a 1936 will not mate up with a 1941 or later.

              So Chris,
Are you saying '36 only? Or all early ones. Because I have personally run a '47 left case on a '39 right and don't recall any bolt hole issues.
