  • WTB - Needed!... Stem nut for 45 I-beam springer front end

    Howdy fellas!

I find myself in need of two early stem nuts for a 45 I-beam springer (7/8" stem, not the big twin stem of course).
Let me know what you have or if anyone makes a quality reproduction.

Thank you very much in advance!

Inless I am confused the I beam on the 45" used a 1" stem and the Big Twin I beam used a 1 1/8" stem.

Yes,.. could be wrong,... I'd have to go out to the garage and measure my neck stem, to late now...

could have sworn it was 7/8" on the 45,.. though may be thinking of the 1 1/8" of the BT??
      hence the "8th" in there....??

Is the 1" and the 1 1/8" not the measurements of the different seat posts?

I know that the VL I beam is 1 1/8" for sure. I had been told that the 45" I beam was one inch and therefore would bolt on to a OHV Big Twin. Although I have never tried it myself.
