WANTED: OEM 1947 emblems / name plates

Hi everybody!

I have the ugly repros on my knuck...

I am checking ebay every week but just wondering if somebody in the community is willing to "get rid off" a set of original 1947 name plates!

I do not need them shiny and perfect since my knuck is not shiny and perfect!

Chris I think there may be some new repops ciculating. I picked up at Oley 2 really nice lefts for $25.00. They look almost perfect and they do not have the fox imprint on the inside. These are not the harley repops and I don't know who is making them. If anyone has any info please let me know. I will post some images this evening.

I have anyway the hope of finding a pair of name plates from the real late 40's. I will try to avoid (as much as I can) later reproductions... Many thanks again for your information!

Maybe somebody in the community had some from an failed restoration proyect!
