I have that saved but since its coming from Poland and heading to AZ I figure that shipping would be more than 80 bucks. I'd prefer it to be stateside and already painted if possible.

Replicant Metals in PA has them listed on the website. Not sure if they have stock though.

W&W Cycles are also showing them for sale. You need to know that Harley used the -17 part number because the later racks fitted the earlier bikes, but early racks do not necessrily fit later bikes. The rack you need has a -34 part number to fit the wider mudguards and 19" wheels. I bought the W&W one but had to flatten the tubes and oval out the mounting holes to (just) fit the VL rear mudguard stays. Be careful if spending big bucks on an eBay sale with no returns...

Hopefully that was only needed to fit the wider guard Steve and not the early one?

I didn't have an earlier bike to try on the W&W rack. Maybe I had also to bend in the support struts. W&W have now revised their listing to say their rack fits 1917-33.
