    Note how the fives can appear to be different as they are obviously hand-stamped.

    The 5s should be the same size as the M, probably from the same set of stamps...

    PS: Palmer's declared the M55s to be "a 1950s replacement carb"; That leaves a big empty bubble, don't it?

      No serifs, the second 5 is definitely smaller and the C is smaller. I will try to load a pic in the future.
