I just had to buy a set off Ebay as I found it difficult to find a set. I will need to CAD them myself. Anyone with experience using the Caswell Copy CAD kit?
I assume we are talking 40 -50's Harley drop center rims?

NOS spokes are near impossible to find, even good used are rare and often not as advertised.

        So,...

What's a bundle of 120+ used OEM spokes&nipples worth these days?

Asking for a friend of course..

I have had no trouble getting a $1 a piece for bare spokes and $2 with a good nipple. Chrome spokes I just throw in the iron dumpster.

You can try contacting Van Nuys Plating, Inc.

It was mentioned somewhere in the forum..

Have contacted them already and they can do Cadmium

Do not know the charges though

              Thanks for the input everyone

Have seen in front of me two complete NOS spokes recently (unbelievable)

The one set, they would not let it go

The other set is for sale together with a bunch of other items at a price that is high to justify...

I like the idea finding good used ones and cad plating them

Cost on ebay for a set that still need plating was $120 per wheel. No cheap but I have had problems finding correct ones. I was able to get a full wheel assembly for the hub and thought I had also scored a set of spokes but they were so rusted they are unusable.
Still hoping someone has experience with the Caswell Copy CAD.

Contact Steve Lemay, he has new sets made up that are very correct.

Oh! Yes, have come across the website on a couple of occasions in the past!

Did not know the owner’s name though

                          Thanks Cotten

Would also like to visit Davenport - all budget goes into the 64 at the moment.

I believe it is a community of more than just Steve, Jack,

And vintage motorcycling is blessed to still have such devotees.
