  • FL 19T Motor Sprocket

I'm looking for a 19 tooth motor sprocket HD # 40206-55 that was used on panhead FL sidecar models with 3 speed/reverse transmission.

t's a double row NON compensating sprocket.

Sweet! Thank you! I'll pick one up if I can't find OEM. But I need the -55 splined sprocket, and those use a key, so it may not fit.

Use the 22. The 19 is for commercial and inner city use. Very low geared to haul package trucks or use in congested city traffic.

Actually, I found a table in the Clymer book that shows a 65 FL ridden solo uses a 23, or with sidecar, a 19T. However, knowing your expertise, Robbie, I'll be good with a 22T. I think I saw a couple used ones on Fleabay today, and I know there are Vtwin repop 22s out there. Already ordered a Drag Specialties 22T for the transmission.

          Thanks as always, Robbie!

My mistake, they don't sell the splined one. I've always ran a 22 on my sidecar but I'm on flatlands

No problem. I appreciate that you tried to help. I'm going to try a 22 and keep searching for a splined 19 just in case. Rubone suggested a 22 also, and I think he lives in terrain similar to my area, so that may work out just fine. We shall see!
