Scovill has made this DOT hardware. I have contacted them and they no longer make with the machine screw on the back. I was hoping someone would have them left over from a build. I have found a few but figured I would check on this site also. Thanks.

Check for Steib sidecar parts and companies that sell there parts and BMW parts. Steib uses them for the windshield apron.

They were also used on the lap aprons and some appear milsurp at times plus most OEM lap aprons have disintegrated and hardware has not. Such as these..

Been collecting them for awhile. I still have a couple to finish up. Whatever's left I'll let go.

check with boat upholestrey and boatcover specialists, in areas where larger boats are located. Sometimes the fasteners are used for aprons and speciality canvas covers.
just a thought, but I've seen the fasteners on the bigger boats years ago. The only boat chandlery I can think of is called West Marine. One of the larger speciality boat shops in SoCal.
I do know they carry a line of SS fasteners you wont find anywhere else. C2K
