Which ones had notches in the fork stops, and which ones didn't?
3.5s vs 5s? Why?
Thanks in advance for anybody's decent replies,...

Why were any notched at all?
(Think about it: Why were no other '58-up 3.5s, nor any earlier,.. notched?)
Thanks in advance as always, Folks!

PS: Why not straighten what you've got, 65flh? Seriously.Last edited by T. Cotten; 06-25-2020, 05:27 PM.AMCA #776

I'm so confused, Folks!
Here are the fork stem listings from a '65 Parts Book;
Number thirteen are the solid solo stems, fourteen are the bottom adjustable brackets, and fifteen is the whole adjustable assembly.
Which one is the "65-only" notched solo 3.5 gallon stem?
How should my '65-only adjustable bottom bracket be different? A screw hole?
Thanks in advance!
