    1940 EL cam cover

    I am looking for a one year only 1940 EL cam cover. It has the eight fins on it but it doesnt have the visible oil passage and circle shape under the fins.

      I have one now, it wasnt drilled for the oiler line. Does anyone know why? Does this indicate that it is not oem? Thanks.

          The same casting was used briefly in the early pan era, 51-52, so the feed hole for the line directly to the rocker boxes was not machined.
