A friend of mine has asked me to help him find a nice 1930's/1940's Harley WL 'rider' bike.
He would be ok with a WLA military bike, but is also fine with a nice rider-grade bike from the mid/late 1930's into the 1940's. Bike does not have to be a judging winner, but a reliable and nice-looking 45. I think he would be good with a Sport Scout as well!
A WLA converted to civilian would also be ok. Again, he is not looking for something investment grade or AMCA judging perfect... but a nice, reliable rider that looks good and reflects the period.
Something in the Northeast is definitely preferred. Please post or send me a PM. Serious new enthusiast (He joined AMCA today) and a friend who really wants to add a vintage bike to his riding repertoire. He has a late '90s Fatboy and a Model A Ford. And is a Stock Car racing driver (at the AAA-ball level). A really, really great gearhead.
Cheers and thanks for any leads!
