M51L Needed!

Hello Bob,

I have a good M51 body with the choke and throttle shafts, and discs. All the treads look good, plus I ran a bolt through each hole without any problems. I'm looking for a good complete 55-67 oil pump. Any chance of a trade? I can send photo's of the M51.

Trademark, I think late 62-67 has a larger diameter idler shaft in the pump than does the 55-62 pump which will require different size gears, also the cover is different from 65-67 with the addition of the hole for the aluminum primary oiler pipe. Bob

I should have read my Victory Library Linkert carburator book a little closer. I thought that your M51L, that the "L" was a typo. I have a plain 1 1/4" M51. And I found an oil pump. Sorry for any false hopes on the M51L.
