Do you need just the lever or the whole assembly?

Chris, wasn't the brake handle narrow slot 2 yr only? 41-42 steel wpb & cast aluminum for civilian?

War production cast iron came a bit later. The narrow lever assembly was used into 1948. Remember Peal Harbor was 12/07/1941. 1942's had been coming down the line for over five months already.

was the no slot lever used in 1941? got a 1941 enthusiast that has a no slot lever pictured on the back cover for a "new for 1941" add.

Narrow 1941-1948. Wide 1948 and later. . No slot looks to be one year only 1941

Or at least in the begining of 1941.
