  • 74Panhead front cylinder "-9" casting code for early '50

Need one with the least bore. Rear that I have is .010, going to .020". Will pay cash or have a '51 front .010 to trade.

I looked at all of mine and don't have a -9. In the past I have asked many people how to understand the date codes and the lack of any codes. Never found an answer and if it's in the Palmer book I can't find it.
When I got my 51 it had E 23-0 on ft. and F 0-0 on the rear. The rear has the unmachined outside oiler cast in the base flange. I have never found any info on that casting either. I also have a front match to that rear but it has J 6-0 code. I would appreciate any help on the subject. Thanks, Kerry
