Dear Bruce, used parts will be a similar price to the repros, so don't expect anything cheap. Isn't there another way to do this that does not alter original parts?

This is for my 1909 NSU rear drum brake. I haven't found any sources worldwide for parts, I could polish the pits out of a HD lever to make it as slim as the NSU one, and modify the holder. I have only some photos to use as a guide. If I have to, I'll buy a repop and modify it. A deeply pitted HD one shouldn't offend any HD guys.
