Looking for a "non" basket-case bike of the following vintage "1957" Would prefer one that is in completed state, looking for matching and authentic numbers to add value to my purchase. I would keenly concider one that needs a bit of finishing work.
I am a marine engineer by trade with a passion for machinery and would like a bike I can ride daily for the short around town type stuff and one I can wrench on as the needs arise. I have had different Harley s since I was in my late teens (time out for kids). I currently have a nice 08 SG which is fun but lacks the "old" nostalgia. I am not looking for something to fix and sell, rather something I can cherish!!
I can travel to view potential machines, I do live in British Columbia Canada, sure would be nice to find something down the street or around the corner, however for the right bike I will happily travel all of North America.
