  • Service car

Looking for a 1955 and up service car in any condition if most all parts are there. Within a 500 miles of Springfield,oh. Thanks.

Servi-Car not service-car, terminology counts in the vintage world!
Good luck on your hunt, try to find the best one you can. Parts are hard to find and a basket will kill you.

Robbie, I know the correct terminology, but the I pad spell check will not let you spell it that way. Also they were called service cars way back when. So most will know what I am talking about. I am also lucky with many local resources to restore one. Hope to see you in wuaseon,I will be there with the red and white 62 fl. Thanks

All the 1951 through 1973 Servi-cars were basically the same. They switched from a Springer to a Hydra-Glide fork in 1958. Other than the trim and paint the only other difference's were the electric starter that appeared in 1964 and the fiberglass box that came in 1967. The disc front brake appeared only on the 1973 models.
