WANTED: Motor for 1950s Pranafa 'Playboy' Mini-Scooter.
The motor is a 16cc, two-stroke designed by Richard Kuchen and manufactured in Germany by Pranafa. These scooters were imported and sold by Hap Alzina's Oakland, CA shop. In the USA they were marketed as the 'Playboy' scooter. I've been lucky enough to acquire an original scooter in very good condition. Unfortunately it is missing the original motor and I'd like to do a first-class restoration of the bike. Any help or information leading to acquiring a motor, in any condition, or just information would be greatly appreciated.
