Hey Barry,
That reminds me of the find my buddy's dad came across during his job of cleaning furnaces. Yep, a complete Curtis single engine, with carb & magneto! He sold it for $1000 about 10 years ago, after hoarding it for some 40 years. They weren't even bike people!
I consider the Curtiss to be one of the ultimate American made bikes. I think Wes Allan out West here had to fabricate a lot his single cyl. Marvil. He'd be a good start, but I bet you've already been there!
