The Excelsior 2 stokes are super rare and I have never seen one in person. The big 3 motorcycle makers in America tried hard to put small bikes into the mix, but the public rejected them. Harley-Davidson's Sport Twin, Indian's model O, and Excelsior's model L were innovative, well-engineered, and attractive but didn't sell. If you come across any information about the Model L Excelsior; myself and many members would love to see it, Scot. Thanks for bringing up this sadly ignored motorcycle.
