Looks like Walt from Supercycle in New York. Probably a good deal IF it is a true blue 53 with matching numbers. Also depends on whether or not it has an Amal or M353 carb or??? -
I should clarify "true blue 53" as having (in my opinion) a CS 61XXX 5 Digit Serial Number with either an Amal or a M-353 Linkert. Again "in my opinion" there were many 52's with CS 61XX 4 Digit serial Numbers registered and Titled as 53 Chiefs.
I also think in 53 less than 300 CS61XXX Bikes were made. The highest serial number I ever saw was somewhere about 270 something.Comment
