DAYTON - Tramssion or Pic of one needed.

Dayton transmission or photo of one (so I know better what I am looking for exactly), desperately needed. Seems the 2 speeder is a more common survivor, and is so hard to find out what the real Dayton 3 Speed transmission looks like. I know my friend said someone in the club over there in USA has a '16 3 speed. Please, please, can anyone provide me with a good pic of the bike, or better, the transmission in it. I will use a Harley box if I have to, or swap a few vintage Harley Transmissions for 1 Dayton 3 speed Trans.

Hi Ken

Would just like to say thanks for the links to those sites, they proved to be invaluable with pages not easily or often seen. I have some pics now of a Dayton transmission I saw at Wheels Through Time in USA thanks to Dale and his unbelievably original 1915 3 speed. It was so complete that I couldn't get a super clear pic of the gearbox because of all the tinware around it, but the pics are clear enough to give an idea of what I'm looking for now. Have them on a different thread on here....
