  • Title advice

I'm trying to sell my 1941 Indian 741. I bought this as a basket case and have restored it to running order (its actually listed in this section).
I now need to sell it and I'm getting the same question about whether or not I have a title. I do and it matches the engine number. But when I pulled out the title I see that it was never signed on the back. It is signed on the front. I may be asking dumb questions but since it was a basket case, I never really thought about it needing a title. So I guess I'm asking, does it need to be titled to sell and if I do have one that matches does it matter if the original seller never signed it? Again its signed on the front.
FYI, I bought the bike from Ziggy Motorworks. He just sent the (Nebraska) title with all the "pieces".

Signed on the front or signed on the back means little without knowing what it looks like and says on it. Every state is different. Who knows what it should be?

BINGO! there are some pretty simple ways to make what needs to go on the back look like what's elsewhere.
