These cases were bought as part of an estate sale. There is no title. The numbers all appear good. The cases have been modified in 3 ways. 1) The cut out relay block has been shaved off, probably to allow for a magneto. 2) The upper reinforcement ribs on the cases have been enlarged both on the left case and the motor mount ribs, possibly to make a racing engine? 3) there has been some sort of aluminum coating (not paint) applied to the cases for reasons unknown. It can be seen on the cases studs and nuts as well as the cases. I tried some paint remover so a small area and it seemed to be cutting through some it after 10 minutes. I tried glass bead to the bottom of the case and it began to peel up after 15 seconds so I revealed the numbers as shown. The front motor mounts have been repaired but it is possible there may be a crack to the left. I put these on here instead of ebay so that possibly a member might benefit. I can take more pics and email them to you if needed. These are actually owned by a good friend of mine and local shop owner, and he will provide you with a bill of sale. I was present when they were purchased. Please look over the pics carefully. I can be reached at 817-903-1607
