I'm throwing this out here as a favor to an old friend who's health dictates he sell some of his cherished items, in this case an NOS 1956 CALIFORNIA LICENSE PLATE still in the wax paper. He also has a '58 DMV year decal for that plate. The plate is yellow with black lettering.

No..I don't know what's he wants for it...I gather he doesn't know what it's worth so anybody with a '56, or a '58 motorcycle that wants this NOS plate still in the wax paper wrapper might think about what he might want to pay for such at item....Oh yeah, collectors are certainly welcome to throw in your interest!
Thanks guys, I know it is a reluctant sale for my friend, he said it was intended for his '56 Triumph back in the day when he was a younger man. He let that Triumph go just as reluctantly and he kept this plate all these years "in memory" of that long lost Triumph!
