This is a new aftermarket tow bar safety cable warning plate for your Harley Servi-Car. I am restoring a '49 and could not find one of these, so decided to make up a batch of them, get them while they last, there will be no more made.
The font and spacing and the physical size, 3-5/8" x 1-7/8", are identical to the original plate. The differences are:
- Mine are flat, the original had slightly embossed lettering
- Mine are aluminum at .025" in thickness, the original is tin, but about the same thickness
- Mine have no holes, you'll have to make your own
- Mine have all square corners, my original plate has one rounded corner
The black is baked into the metal under pressure and it is also UV protected.
